Banker arrested by East Legon Police for raping 16-year-old student

The East Legon Police have arrested a banker, Abraham Otuteye, for allegedly raping a 16-year-old student.

According to sources, Otuteye offered the victim a ride on January 8, 2025, and allegedly gave her a spiked cola drink.

The victim reportedly became unconscious and woke up in a bed at the Movie House, East Legon. A medical report has confirmed the rape.

Otuteye has been transferred to the DOVSSU Headquarters for further investigation.

He is the Head of Global Markets Services at Consolidated Bank Ghana and is married with three children. The case is ongoing.
