Bibiani Magistrate Court remands 42-year-old farmer for attempting to kill ex-wife

A 42-year-old farmer, identified as Samuel Osei, has been remanded in custody by the Bibiani Magistrate Court for allegedly attempting to murder his ex-wife, Abena Osei. The incident occurred on October 12, 2023, when Samuel reportedly attacked Abena with a machete at her residence in the Western North Region of Ghana. Following the assault, she sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
