Businessman accused of murdering Ahmed Suale denied bail

The Madina District Court 2 denied bail for Daniel Owusu Koranteng. He is a businessman linked to the murder of journalist Ahmed Hussien Suale.

After hearing from both sides, the court remanded Koranteng in police custody. He will remain there until April 17, 2025.

Chief Inspector Nana Afua Bamfoa presented amended charges against Koranteng. This occurred during his second appearance in court.

Judge Susana Nyakotey presided over the case. The court did not take Koranteng's plea on charges of abetment and murder.
