C/R: Man Beheaded, dumped along roadside in Gomoa Afransi

Residents of Gomoa Kwame Adwer Akwamu in the Central Region were left in shock after discovering the beheaded body of an Okada rider along the Yamoa road on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

The victim, believed to be in his early 30s, was found early in the morning by residents heading to work.

The circumstances of the gruesome killing remain unknown, and no suspects have been identified.

The Gomoa Afransi Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

The body has been sent to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital Mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

Residents are calling for heightened security in the area to curb such heinous crimes.
