CCTV exposes driver who allegedly stole former boss’ cash

Accra Circuit Court has granted bail to Emmanuel Klutse, a 36-year-old former driver accused of stealing GH₵50,000 from his ex-boss' car.

The incident occurred on December 4, 2024, at a Spintex car park where the complainant, Theress Russell Panford, had parked.

CCTV footage revealed Klutse followed the complainant, used a spare key to access the car, and stole the money before escaping.

Police arrested Klutse after a formal complaint.

Upon questioning, he admitted to the crime and confessed to sharing the stolen amount with two accomplices, using GH₵15,000 to settle debts.

Klutse had worked for the complainant for seven years.

The case resumes on February 12, 2025.
