Charles Bissue, 1 other granted GH¢400,000 bail - over corruption, bribery allegations

Former Presidential staffer Mr. Charles Cromwell Nanabanyin Onuawonto Bissue and Anthony Thomas Owusu have been granted bail. The Accra High Court (Criminal Division 4) set their bail at GH¢200,000 each.

Both men pleaded not guilty to charges of corruption and bribery. The case has been adjourned to May 29, 2025, for a Case Management Conference (CMC).

The court ordered the accused to provide two sureties. One of these sureties must be justified as part of their bail conditions.

Additionally, Bissue and Owusu must deposit their passports with the court's Registry. They are also required to report to the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) once a month.
