Chinese and Malaysian nationals arrested over suspected cyber-crime activities in Weija

The Cyber-crime Unit of the Ghana Police Service has made arrests.

They worked with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) on this operation.

Ten individuals were arrested for cyber-crime activities in Weija.

The suspects are from China and Malaysia. They are now in police custody.

During the operation, police seized over 800 mobile phones.

They also recovered some computers and several charging devices.

All items have been kept for forensic analysis.

This will help with ongoing investigations.
