Chop bar operator killed in suspected robbery at Anloga

A 60-year-old chop bar operator, Dorcas Korkor Tetteh, has been killed in a suspected robbery incident in Anloga Dornorgbor, Volta Region.

Her lifeless body, bearing visible marks of assault, was discovered in her room on Saturday morning, December 28, 2024.

According to Joseph Kpattah, Presiding Member of the Anloga District Assembly, the victim returned home from church service on Friday night.

Workers arriving the next morning noticed her windows and doors open, with the metal bars removed.

Upon entering, they found her body on the floor.

Police have since moved the body to the morgue and launched an investigation into the incident.

The community remains on edge as authorities work to apprehend the perpetrators.
