Court remands suspect in fatal shooting during enstoolment ceremony at Nungua

A District Court has remanded Samuel Adjei into police custody in connection with the fatal shooting at an enstoolment ceremony in Nungua.

Adjei, who has been charged with murder, is set to reappear in court on March 12, 2025.

The incident led to the tragic death of Naa Borley Ahmed after she was struck in the right thigh by live ammunition from a single-barrel gun fired by Adjei.

The motive behind the shooting remains unclear as investigations continue.
