A teenage son of pastor Salifu Amoako has been sentenced to six months at the Senior Correctional Center after admitting to manslaughter in a deadly East Legon car crash.

The unlicensed teen, who killed two passengers in the incident, initially denied charges but later pled guilty.

In addition to his sentence, he must report to probation officers bi-weekly and refrain from driving until age 18.

The court fined his parents GH₵6,000 each for negligence and ordered them to pay GH₵8,000 to replace a damaged light pole.

This ruling highlights the consequences of youth driving without supervision.
