A month after security agencies failed to solve the murder of 60-year-old chopbar operator Dorcas Korkor Tetteh in Anloga, the family has turned to the powerful Yewe Shrine at Nogokpo for spiritual intervention.
In a bid to find the culprits, they sought permission from the Dufia of Anloga, Togbi Zewu IV, to use the traditional gong-gong ceremony to announce their search for justice.
The family intends to invoke the thunder god, Zakadza, in the hopes of forcing the perpetrators to confess.
The Nogokpo shrine is known for its mystical powers and has a long history of aiding victims in securing justice.
The local community is now aware of the spiritual journey underway, as authorities support the traditional efforts alongside police investigations.
