Father jailed 10 years for impregnating 15-year-old daughter

The Circuit Court in Tokor, Ketu South Municipality, has sentenced a father to 10 years in prison.

Kotse Zigah, 36, is an electrician from Adoteykope near Aflao. He impregnated his 15-year-old daughter.

Zigah pleaded guilty to defilement charges. The court was presided over by Mr. Joseph Ofosu Behome.

Police Inspector Albert Kombor provided details during the prosecution. Miss Faustina Elikplim Korwu, the Assembly Member for Avoeme West Electoral Area, helped the victim file a complaint.

This led to Zigah's arrest at the Aflao Police Station.
