An 18-year-old hunter, Frederick Donkor, popularly known as K2, has been sentenced to 24 months of hard labor by the Tarkwa District Court 2 for unlawful entry and theft.
Donkor, who resides in Aboso Nsuaem in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality, pleaded guilty to stealing GH¢2,500 and mobile phones valued at GH¢9,700.
The court, presided over by Mr. Isaac Osei Asare, advised Donkor to reform and adopt a productive lifestyle after his sentence.
According to Police Sergeant Enoch Assan-Donkoh, the incident occurred on December 31, 2024, when Donkor broke into a cocoa purchasing clerk’s home during New Year’s Eve church services.
While some stolen items were recovered, the cash and a pair of Jordan sneakers remain missing. Donkor now faces prison time for his actions.
