Justice Kwaku Annan, host of CTV's Frontline, has criticized the Ministry of Transport for its handling of the interdiction and reinstatement of Eric Nartey Yeboah, popularly known as "Chairman Dollar," after his alleged involvement in a cocaine smuggling case at Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
Annan accused the Ministry, led by Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, of double standards, highlighting its prompt announcement of Nartey Yeboah’s interdiction but silence on his reinstatement and exoneration.
He described the lack of transparency as unprofessional and unfair.
Calling for an official statement, Annan emphasized the need for consistency to restore public trust in the Ministry’s processes, particularly in sensitive matters like this.
Mr. Yeboah was reportedly cleared of wrongdoing following investigations but remains at the center of public scrutiny due to the Ministry's silence.
