Karen Baaba Sam seeks to overturn alleged fraudulent arrest warrant

Karen Baaba Sam, at the heart of a domestic violence case, has filed a motion at the Achimota District Court to nullify an arrest warrant she claims was unlawfully obtained.

The warrant, issued on January 20, 2025, accused her of unlawfully removing her child.

However, Baaba Sam argues that the warrant was procured fraudulently by Detective Inspector Samuel Sakyi, who falsely presented her as a fugitive.

She asserts that she is currently engaged in a legal battle over custody and domestic abuse, with a Circuit Court granting her interim protection for her daughter.

Baaba Sam is seeking justice, urging the court to invalidate the warrant and investigate those involved in what she describes as an illegal attempt to harm her.
