Land guards’ alleged plot on Okyeman Environmental Protection brigade exposed

The Okyeman Environmental Protection Brigade has issued a warning regarding a potential reprisal attack by alleged land guards associated with estate developers in Adoagyiri and Okanta.

Okyeman Akwansrahene Baffour Asiedu Bekoe revealed that the brigade intercepted details of this plot through a WhatsApp voice recording.

Previous apprehensions of land guards by the brigade resulted in their release after 48 hours, heightening concerns of retaliation.

The area has been marked by ongoing tensions, including the recent killing of brigade member Ofei Noah.

Disputes over land ownership involving Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin further complicate the security situation in the region.
