The Kaneshie District Court has granted Felix Yeboah, a 20-year-old loading boy, a GH₵2,000 bail with two sureties following his alleged theft of a driving mirror.
Yeboah has denied the charge and is scheduled to appear in court again on January 13, 2025.
Police Chief Inspector Alice Adjei outlined the facts, stating that Bismark Obeng, an auto mechanic apprentice at Nima, is the complainant.
Yeboah allegedly visited Obeng’s shop on December 22, 2024, claiming to buy dirty oil but fled after being told there was none.
Later that evening, Obeng caught Yeboah hiding near a Honda Civic in the shop, leading to his arrest.
The stolen mirror was recovered from the Nima Police station where Yeboah had hidden it.
