Man apprehended for alleged attempt to steal Mercedes-Benz during test drive

A young man, identified as A Flat, has been arrested for allegedly attempting to steal a Mercedes-Benz C300 during a test drive near Haatso KFC in Accra.

The suspect reportedly expressed interest in the unregistered white car at a dealership.

During the test drive, he allegedly attempted to flee with the vehicle but was intercepted by bystanders and the car dealer.

Eyewitnesses recount that the suspect faced a mob attack before pleading for his life.

The police have been notified, and the suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue.
