Man arrested over vehicle theft, car rental fraud

A 37-year-old man named Nana Anderson has been arrested. He was caught for vehicle theft and car rental fraud. His hideout was in Atasemanso, a suburb of Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

Nana Anderson is also known by several other names. These include Anderson Nana Abeka, Essel Kofi Elvis, and Willson Kojo Bismark. He allegedly rented cars using forged ECOWAS identity cards and driver’s licenses.

These documents had different names but featured his photo. A statement confirmed the arrest from Superintendent Juliana Obeng. She is the head of the Public Affairs Unit of the CID at the Ghana Police Service in Accra.
