Man beheads girlfriend over cheating allegations in Diaso

A man in his early 30s has gruesomely beheaded his girlfriend in Diaso, Central Region, over suspected cheating.

The shocking incident occurred after she was allegedly caught with another man.

Witnesses last saw the couple together at noon on January 9, 2025.

Later that day, friends, concerned about her whereabouts, discovered her lifeless body in the suspect's home, lying in a pool of blood with multiple neck stab wounds.

The suspect fled the scene, sparking fear and outrage in the community.

Diaso, already notorious for violent crimes, now faces its second case of partner violence over alleged infidelity this year.

Police are investigating, and the deceased's body has been sent to Dunkwa-On-Offin Hospital for autopsy.

No arrests have been made yet.
