The Accra High Court has remanded Chima Uchechukwu. He is an estate developer. He is accused of possessing illegal drugs in Oyarifa, Accra.
Uchechukwu was arrested by the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC). They found 192 slabs of cocaine and 57 pellets of cocaine. They also discovered a polybag containing heroin and morphine.
He faces three charges related to narcotic drugs. These include possession without lawful authority. He is also charged with using property for narcotic offences.
In court, Uchechukwu denied all the charges. His lawyer, Mr. Paul Asibi Abariga, was present during the hearing.
