Nine individuals have been remanded in custody by the Dansoman Circuit Court, following an alleged assault on workers over a disputed land at Adjiringanor, East Legon.

The accused, led by a suspect identified as Sledge Doodo (currently at large), face charges of conspiracy to commit crime, abetment of crime, and causing harm.

The incident occurred on December 12, 2024, when the accused allegedly invaded land owned by businessman Theophilus Teiko Tagoe, whose ownership had been upheld by the courts.

The accused assaulted two workers, with one sustaining serious injuries.

The court denied bail, citing the severity of the charges, and adjourned the case to December 24, 2024. Police investigations continue.
