OSP’s arrest warrant: Charles Bissue’s case assigned to new judge

The legal proceedings involving Charles Bissue, former Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) have been reassigned to a new judge and postponed to July 2, 2024.

Bissue sought to nullify an alleged arrest warrant and wanted notice issued by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).

The OSP declared him wanted for not complying with an investigation invitation. Bissue filed a writ to prevent prosecution by the OSP.

The court will review a YouTube video submitted by Bissue and possibly cross-examine his lawyer.

The OSP denied any arrest warrant existed and demands evidence from Bissue's legal team.
