One dead, multiple injured in violent clash at Nkonsia

A violent clash between youth from Wenchi Zongo and Nkonsia in the Wenchi Municipality of Ghana's Bono Region led to the death of 21-year-old Alhassan Mohammed and the destruction of five motorbikes.

The incident occurred early Sunday, leaving the community in shock.

According to Wenchi Methodist Hospital, three victims were brought in, with one succumbing to injuries and another still hospitalized.

The clash reportedly began after an attempted phone snatching at a local event escalated into violence.

The case has been reported to the Wenchi police for further investigation.
