The trial of Daniel Asiedu, accused of murdering former Abuakwa North MP J.B Danquah-Adu in 2016, has been adjourned to June 10, 2024, due to a jurors' strike.

Asiedu, known as ‘Sexy don-don,’ claimed in his last court appearance that police investigators coerced him to leave fingerprints at the crime scene and alleged the current Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, was present at the scene.

The trial, which has been ongoing for eight years, awaits the jurors' return from industrial action to resume proceedings.
