The Ghana Police Service has arrested Martin Amoah, also known as "Baba Macho," in connection with the robbery and murder of a mobile money vendor in Kumasi.

Amoah, who had been on the wanted list, was apprehended on March 27, 2025, in Kpone, Greater Accra, following an intelligence-led operation. His arrest increases the number of suspects in custody to four.

The police have assured that Amoah will soon be arraigned to face charges.

The case has sparked public concern, with authorities reaffirming their commitment to ensuring justice.

In a statement, DSP Godwin Ahianyo urged public cooperation, emphasizing the police's ongoing efforts to maintain security and uphold law and order.
