Police investigate disruption of Metro TV broadcast

The Ghana Police Service is investigating an incident at Metro TV's premises on November 27, 2024, when officers and a court bailiff interrupted a live broadcast over a long-standing debt owed to Vodacom.

The debt, which dates back three years, led to legal action and a court order allowing asset seizure.

The police clarified that the dispute is a private business matter, not political.

They urged Metro TV staff to cooperate with the investigation.
