The Volta Regional Police Command has arrested another suspect. This is in connection with the robbery and murder of mobile money vendor Christopher Ahordor. The incident occurred at Aflao on April 28, 2025.
The new suspect is Happy Sewordor, 65. He is believed to be the father of Michael Sewornu, who was previously arrested. A press release from Deputy Superintendent Felix Danku confirmed this information.
Police found several items in Sewordor's room. They retrieved four single-barrel cap guns and one locally made pistol. They also found fourteen AAA cartridges, one BB cartridge, and dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp. Additionally, some illicit drugs suspected to be Tramadol were discovered.

He is scheduled to reappear in court on June 16, 2025.
