Probe claim of drug trafficking via KIA - Pres Mahama - Ghanaian Times

John Dramani Mahama has ordered an investigation into drug trafficking and money laundering. This activity allegedly involves the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra.

The Narcotics Control Commission, Police CID, National Investigations Bureau (NIB), and National Security Coordinator will conduct the probe.

The President's decision follows claims from Rev. John Ntim Fordjour. He is the Ranking Member on the Defence and Interior Committee of Parliament.

Rev. Ntim Fordjour held a press conference in Accra on Tuesday. He stated that two flights are involved in the alleged trafficking.

The flights mentioned are Cavok Air’s Antonov-An 128B and AirMed flight N823AM.
