Robbers injure MoMo vendor; bolt with GH₵30k at Amanfrom

Two armed robbers have attacked a Mobile Money (MoMo) vendor, Clara Quainoo, at Amanfrom in the Ga South Municipality, making away with GH₵30,000.

The robbery occurred around 7:00 pm on Monday as Clara was closing her shop.

Recounting the ordeal to Adom News, she said the robbers, who arrived on a motorbike, held her and her sister at gunpoint.

One brandished a pistol while the other, armed with a knife, demanded their money.

In the struggle, Clara sustained knife wounds on her left hand and is currently receiving treatment.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, urging the public to remain vigilant as they work to apprehend the suspects.
