Second year student shot by classmate at ADASS, Kumasi

A female student at Adventist Senior High School in Kumasi was shot.

The incident happened on Friday morning during class.

The year-two student suffered severe head injuries.

She was taken to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after being referred from Kwadaso SDA Hospital.

The suspect is also a student in the same class.

He has been arrested by the Suame District Police.

Reports say the suspect showed a pistol after class.

He fired the gun when classmates questioned if it was real.
