Second year student shot by classmate at ADASS, Kumasi

A female student at Adventist Senior High School in Kumasi was shot on Friday morning during class.

The second-year student sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after being referred from Kwadaso SDA Hospital.

The suspect, a fellow student from the same class, has been arrested by the Suame District Police.

Reports indicate that after showing a pistol to classmates, the suspect fired the weapon, injuring the victim.

Some students initially questioned if the gun was real before the shot was fired.
