Suits against CJ removal adjourned to May 6

The Supreme Court (SC) has postponed the Chief Justice removal suits. The new date is May 6, 2025. This includes two injunction applications against the removal processes.

The adjournment occurred because one panel member was absent. This is the second time the case has been delayed.

Previously, on April 9, the case was moved to April 16. State attorneys were attending a week-long training for ECOWAS Court representation.

The case was filed by Ekow Vincent Assafuah. He is the Member of Parliament for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region. The suit had to be adjourned indefinitely due to these circumstances.
