Three remanded for stealing onions, electrical appliances and others at Wenchi

At the Wenchi Magistrate Court, Judge Issah Abdul Wahab has remanded Adu Joel (18), Appau Richmond (21), and Patrick Boateng (21) into police custody on multiple theft charges.

The trio is accused of breaking into Erica Fosua’s room in Wenchi and stealing items valued at GH¢5,700.

The stolen goods included a mattress, gas cylinder, rice cookers, and more. During the investigation, Joel led the police to recover some of the stolen items and identified his accomplices.

The case has been adjourned to August 29, 2024, for further investigation.
