Two arrested in connection with murder in Oti Region

The Katanga District Police Command has arrested two suspects. They are Solomon Anibra, 24, and Lucas Kwasi, 22. They are connected to the murder of a herdsman.

The arrests were announced by Deputy Superintendent of Police John Nchor. He is part of the Public Affairs Unit in the Oti Region.

The incident happened on April 24, 2025. The herdsman was attacked while herding cattle along the Katanga-Tornu feeder road. He was taken to WoraWora Government Hospital but died upon arrival.

Police conducted intelligence-led operations to find the suspects. They were arrested at their hideout in Katanga on April 25, 2025.

The suspects are currently in police custody. They will be presented in court soon.
