The Ghana Police Service has arrested two more suspects, Isaac Ofosu and Yeboah Augustine, in connection with the violent clashes during the Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko FC. This brings the total number of suspects in custody to five.
Investigations are ongoing, with authorities working to identify and apprehend other individuals involved.
Nsoatreman owner Ignatius Baffour Awuah, who was among the first three arrested, has been placed under a travel ban after appearing in court.
The violence, which resulted in one death, prompted the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to suspend all Premier League matches.
The police have assured the public of an intelligence-led operation to ensure justice.
