Young man found dead in rubbish container at Bole

A young man, believed to be in his early twenties, has been found dead with his hands and legs tied in Bole, Savannah Region.

His body was discovered on Saturday, February 8, 2025, inside a large rubbish container near a public toilet at Mempeasem.

Channel One News correspondent Malik Gazari reports that the Assemblymember for the area, Abu Hassan, confirmed the incident, describing it as the eighth such killing in the locality.

Mr. Hassan stated that the case has been reported to the police, and the body has been deposited at the Bole Hospital morgue for further investigations.

Authorities have urged residents to remain calm as security agencies work to uncover the circumstances surrounding the murder.
