2025 TGMA red carpet session: No invitation, no appearance

The 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards is changing its red carpet rules.

This year, only invited celebrities and dignitaries can attend the red carpet.

The organisers will host two red carpet sessions. One is for general media interviews and photoshoots. The main session will feature the question, "Who are you wearing?"

An invitation is required to appear on the main red carpet. This will create order and improve the experience.

In previous years, many complained about who was interviewed on the red carpet. Some felt that poor production allowed "just anybody" to participate. This often extended the duration of the session.

Others criticized some celebrities' outfits as subpar. With these new rules, the 2025 TGMA promises to be a spectacular event.

The 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards will occur on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. It will take place at the Grand Arena of the International Conference Centre.
