2Face’s mother breaks silence on son’s divorce

The mother of Nigerian music legend 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia) has opened up about the struggles in her son’s marriage to Annie Idibia.

She revealed that despite welcoming Annie into the family with open arms, their relationship deteriorated over time.

She noted that Annie often made excuses to prevent her visits and refused to offer support when needed. Additionally, when 2Baba faced issues with his other children’s mothers, Annie accused her of taking sides.

She recalled being insulted and labeled a "witch" by Annie, which deeply hurt her and other family members.

Amid reports of the couple’s separation and pending divorce, she urged 2Baba to work on their marriage, especially as Annie is currently in rehab. She prays for Annie’s recovery and hopes for reconciliation.
