‘Make una pray make Mahama no leave power oo’ – Medikal backs president Mahama’s leadership

Ghanaian rapper Medikal has publicly supported President John Dramani Mahama. His social media post has gone viral, energizing discussions about leadership in Ghana.

In his post, Medikal called on Ghanaians to appreciate Mahama's return. He described Mahama as a “very serious guy” who should stay in power.

“Make una pray make Mahama no leave power oo, very serious guy!” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

President Mahama won a historic landslide victory in the 2024 elections. He is receiving praise across the country for his leadership.

Medikal’s endorsement adds to the excitement around Mahama's policies and impact. The rapper suggested two successors for when Mahama's term ends.

He mentioned Ibrahim Mahama, the president's brother, and Alan Kyerematen (known as Alan Cash). Medikal believes both have ambitions to improve Ghana.

Celebrity endorsements are common in politics. However, Medikal’s support for Mahama and naming potential successors has sparked significant online reactions.
