Record producer De Thompson DDT has backed newly elected MP Kwame Asare Obeng, known as A Plus, for stating he won’t focus on the creative arts industry in parliament.
DDT applauded A Plus for his transparency, noting he's prioritizing his constituents' needs.
Speaking on Property FM, DDT explained that elected officials typically serve their constituents, not specific industries like creative arts.
He emphasized that expectations should be realistic unless an MP is specifically appointed as a minister for creative arts.
DDT commended A Plus for setting clear boundaries from the outset, avoiding misplaced hopes within the creative sector.
