Badu revealed he had fasted and prayed for Mahama's return, including time spent at Black Stars Square.

He described the victory as being achieved "in style" and prayed for Mahama's wisdom in navigating the challenges ahead.

The inauguration, held on January 7, 2025, was a significant event, drawing global attention with 21 Heads of State, 3 Vice Presidents, and 24 ambassadors in attendance.
