Accra gears up for Original FM/TV's ‘Walk in Your Jersey’ event on May 24

Hundreds of sports fans will gather in Accra on May 24, 2025. They will participate in the “Walk in Your Jersey” event. This fun morning walk celebrates team spirit, fitness, and football fandom.

Participants should wear their favorite football jerseys. They can represent clubs from around the world. The walk starts at 6:00 a.m., beginning at Accra Mall and ending at Center Point Mall.

The event is organized with support from media partners. These include Metro TV, Original TV, Daily Graphic, The Mirror, and Original 91.9 FM. It aims to combine a love for football with healthy living.

Fans from rival teams will come together for unity and fun. Expect vibrant displays of football pride with jerseys from various clubs. This includes Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Barcelona, and local teams like Asante Kotoko.

“This is more than just a walk,” said the leader of Abofu Fun Club. “It’s a celebration of culture, sport, and passionate fans.”

The event welcomes all age groups and fitness levels. There will be entertainment and refreshment stops along the route.
