Actress Jackie Appiah embraces a bold new role as a drug baron in 'Everyone Loves Jenifa'

Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah has taken on a challenging new role as a drug baron in Everyone Loves Jenifa, currently screening at Silverbird Cinemas in Accra.

Known for playing romantic roles, Jackie embraced this departure, citing the importance of versatility in acting.

Her character, Bebe, is a calm but ruthless leader commanding a dangerous league of drug dealers, portraying power and fearlessness.

The movie explores themes such as morality, hypocrisy, domestic violence, and women’s rights while blending humor, romance, and cultural elements from Ghana and Nigeria.

Produced by Funke Akindele and Tunde Olaoye, it features a stellar cast, including Prince David Osei and Patience Ozokwor.

Jackie praised the engaging script and expressed pride in her performance during a promotional event.
