The African Music Week (AMW) Accra was launched on December 27, 2024, at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre.

Scheduled for December 15-20, 2025, AMW aims to promote African music and tourism, fostering industry connections across Ghana and Canada.

Key speeches emphasized leveraging music tourism for economic growth and cultural exchange.

Speakers included Yofi Grant (GIPC), Bessa Simons (MUSIGA), Rex Omar (GHAMRO), and Mark Okraku-Mantey (Tourism Ministry).

A panel discussion featuring Rocky Dawuni and Edem explored integrating music into tourism initiatives.

The event showcased performances by artists like Feli Nuna and Bugatti Bonsu, unveiled AMW’s logo, and highlighted Ghana’s potential as a cultural hub.
