Agradaa Explains Use of $800 Gift from Sammy Gyamfi
Nana Agradaa, leader of Heaven Way Chapel International Ministry, shared details about an $800 gift. The CEO of The Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, gave her this money. During a church service on May 25, 2025, she explained how she used it.
Agradaa said she exchanged the $800 for cedis at a Forex Bureau. She then used the money to support her church members. Part of it went towards buying bags of rice for them.
She also filled white envelopes with cash and distributed them to her congregation. "I have gone to change the $800," she stated in a video.
While preaching, Agradaa mentioned a special occasion when she wore a mauve dress and silver shoes. This was linked to the gifts she provided to her church members.
She expressed gratitude towards Sammy Gyamfi and President John Dramani Mahama for their support. Agradaa thanked all National Democratic Congress (NDC) leaders who stood by her during the controversy over the gift.
At the end of her sermon, she encouraged everyone to "wave the envelopes."
