Ajuma releases ‘Suro Nipa', a healing song for the brokenhearted

Ajuma makes a bold entry into Ghana's music scene. His debut single, ‘Suro Nipa’, is now available under Dream City Entertainment.

Dream City Entertainment is an Accra-based record label. They focus on discovering raw talent.

The song carries a powerful message: “Be careful of humans.” ‘Suro Nipa’ serves as a wake-up call wrapped in melody. It reflects Ajuma’s experiences with betrayal, heartbreak, and resilience.

“I’ve been backstabbed by people I loved,” Ajuma shares. “Music became my way to heal and speak truth.”

He adds, “‘Suro Nipa’ is for anyone who has been let down but refuses to stay down.”

Ajuma, whose real name is Iddrisu Baba Aliu, grew up in Boadua-Akwatia. He describes his sound as Afrosounds. This style blends Afrobeats' rhythms, Highlife's melodies, and lyrical storytelling.

His musical influences include Black Sherif, Daddy Lumba, Kwabena Kwabena, and Burna Boy.

Though ‘Suro Nipa’ is his first release, Ajuma’s storytelling shows depth and experience. His mission is clear: turn pain into power through music.

You can listen to ‘Suro Nipa’ on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major platforms.

As an artist signed to Dream City Entertainment, Ajuma aims to build a legacy. Fans can expect more music, visuals, and collaborations soon. He seeks to become one of Ghana’s most emotionally resonant voices.
