Alex Van Pelt, Chatham High School Grad and Baseball Star, Tragically Dies

Alex Van Pelt, a talented 2024 Chatham High School graduate and baseball pitcher, has died, leaving the Danville community in mourning.

He had recently committed to play Division 1 baseball at Mount St. Mary and joined the Sherill Silversmiths.

Fundraising efforts are underway to support his family.
