Amaarae projects Ghana at Coachella 2025

US-based Ghanaian singer Amaarae proudly raised the Ghanaian flag high during her electrifying solo set at the 2025 Coachella Festival in Indio, California, becoming the first Ghanaian artiste to perform solo at the global music event.

Performing on April 13 at the Empire Polo Club, Amaarae thrilled fans not only with her own music but also by showcasing songs from Ghanaian acts like Eazzy, Joey B, La Même Gang, and Asakaa Boys. Mid-performance, she chanted Ghana’s name and encouraged fans to wave the national flag.

She stunned fans further by cutting her long hair live on stage and revealed that her new album, *Black Star*, will drop this summer.
