Amaarae set to become first Ghanaian artiste to perform at Coachella

Amaarae, the American-Ghanaian singer-songwriter, will become the first Ghanaian artist to perform at Coachella on April 13 and 20, 2025.

Known for her genre-blending music and gender-fluid artistry, she joins a star-studded lineup including Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion, and Nigeria’s Rema.

Amaarae's groundbreaking year in 2024 featured performances at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival, a collaboration with Childish Gambino, and her achievement as the first female Ghanaian musician to reach one billion streams.

The 2025 Coachella Music Festival will take place at the Empire Polo Club in California from April 11 to 20, with presales starting November 22, 2024.

This milestone solidifies Amaarae’s impact on global music.
